Kansas High School Football Huddle
It's been a tough week in the tiny town of Herrington as it tries to move forward from the death of its high school football coach Bud Peterson.Tonight, Herrington athletic director Mark Cook will be my guest on High School Football America to talk about how his school, football team and community is coping with the loss. Peterson died in the hospital last Friday.
Herrington's players learned of the news at halftime of its game with West Franklin. Down 10-0 at the break, the Railers stormed back to win 21-10 to improve to 2-0 this season.
